Nassau Candy Distributors, Inc. is expanding its Brijon Hospitality division, responsible for the company’s customized products. Brijon, acquired by Nassau as part of its acquisition of Lanco in 2017, offers what the company describes as the broadest full-line customization capabilities in North America in the promotional products, souvenir and specialty retail markets.
The company’s expanded offerings include customized confectionery, chocolate and snack items, drinkware, apparel, and health and beauty items, which will target all areas of hospitality including in-room, amenity, events, hotel branding and more
According to the company, customers can combine orders with Nassau Candy’s 10,000+ confectionery, snack and gourmet food products.
“I am very excited to significantly expand the Brijon and Nassau Candy businesses,” says Lance Stier, a principal of Nassau Candy. “Having surveyed the hospitality markets, we believe there is a major opportunity to bring a one-stop manufacturing and distribution platform to the market, which can deliver custom branding and specialty food and confectionery solutions across all major categories of the hospitality market.”
As part of this expanded roll-out, Christy Coleman is joining the company as a key accounts manager. Coleman was formerly a senior sales executive with Astor Chocolate/LeBelge and American Hotel Register.
“I am so excited to join Brijon and Nassau Candy,” Coleman says. “I believe in the power of a one-stop customization platform, which can cater to all departments of a hotel property. I believe we are bringing a unique value proposition to hotel customers and am excited to work closely to execute this exciting vision.”
Scott Slade, president of Brijon, adds: “Customization, innovation and added value are cornerstones of our company. Christy will be instrumental in communicating this to the hospitality industry, and defining the value of partnering with Brijon.” C&ST
