Neopac, a global provider of high-quality packaging and dosing applications for pharma, beauty and oral care, highlighted several product introductions and sustainability advancements at CPhI Barcelona, the world’s largest pharmaceutical trade show, held October 24-26.

At the company’s exhibit stand, Neopac introduced two of its latest innovations in the tube sector, while also highlighting its recent RecyClass A rating for the entirety of its Polyfoil® MMB tube range:

  • World’s Smallest Child Resistant Tube: Neopac’s 10mm CR-Tube is the smallest child resistant tube released to the market thus far, offering exemplary safety and unparalleled convenience for consumers. Now available in diameters from 10mm and capacities of 0.5-2ml, the tubes are made of certified pharma grade materials and are suitable for liquids and creams. Produced under ISO 8 cleanroom conditions in Neopac facilities in both Europe and the United States, the CR-Tube line offers high-barrier protection for sensitive, toxic or concentrated formulas, and can be decorated via direct printing for compelling aesthetics.
  • Twist’n’Use Soft Long Nozzle: Ideal for its line of small-diameter tubes, Neopac’s new Twist’n’Use Soft Long Nozzle provides smooth, targeted application of product in sensitive areas like gums or ears. The tamper evident closure can fit on tubes up to 16mm in diameter with capacities up to 10ml.
  • Pharma Grade Polyfoil® MMB range: Neopac’s Polyfoil® MMB recyclable barrier tubes were the first to receive full product and technology approval from RecyClass, including Class A classification for all PE structures. The monomaterial tubes are available in a variety of structures; In the original, the body, shoulder and closure are made of polyethylene (PE). The tube is available with white, colored or metallic appearance. The series also offers an EVOH-free version with an alternative special barrier coating protected between the laminated tube body. To increase recyclability with pumps, lip tubes or roll-ons with pharmaceutical approval, there is also a new polypropylene (PP) version with a high-gloss metallic look or soft-touch feel.

Tubes in the Polyfoil® MMB line range in diameter from 19-40mm, and are designed from EU/US regulatory compliant pharma-grade materials. They are produced under ISO 8/9 clean room conditions at a manufacturing facility powered with clean energy.

“Our team is continuously working toward new materials science and sustainability advancements that address our customers’ evolving functional needs and eco-conscious desires,” said Martina Christiansen, Director Sales Tubes at Neopac. “CPhI Barcelona was a tremendous success, and served as a significant opportunity for our company to showcase these latest innovations to the global pharmaceutical industry.”
