Purolite Corporation is implementing a global freight and packaging surcharge for its ion exchange, catalyst, adsorbent and specialty high-performance resins in its Core Technologies business (residential, municipal, commercial and industrial). The surcharge is 4% and is effective immediately or as contracts allow.

As has been widely reported in the news recently, freight rates both domestically and internationally are skyrocketing. Pricing for haulage has increased 100%-600% depending on the route. With four manufacturing sites strategically located worldwide, Purolite’s supply chain, which allows the company to be agile, have short lead times and ensure the security of supply, is being severely impacted. Additionally, supply chain issues have caused lumber, paper and steel prices to reach record highs driving up packaging costs.

“These adjustments will allow Purolite to continue offering the same high level of quality, sales and technical support,” says Jacob Brodie, Vice President Americas. We will continue to monitor the situation to align with market conditions.“
